Matt Sortor is the Director of Manufacturing at Oakley Sub Assembly where he oversees multiple manufacturing sites ensuring their safety, production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.

Matt joined Oakley in 2015 holding the position as Plant Manager at the Flint facility for 6 years before assuming his current role as Director of Manufacturing

His responsibilities at Oakley include overseeing and managing all aspects of the company’s manufacturing operations. Involved in the hiring and development of key plant leadership, provides guidance to the teams in meeting company KPI’s along with ensuring customer requirements are met daily. Matt has 20+ years working in a variety of leadership roles in different manufacturing and engineering divisions. Matt graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
